Education:

Graduated from Crestview High School 1969
Graduated from OWJC 1971 ( Now Northwest Florida State College)
Graduated from The University of West Florida with a degree in Accounting in 1974


Professional Life:

Staff Accountant for the Clerk of Court 1974-1976
Okaloosa County Finance Director 1976-1981
Chief Deputy Clerk of Court 1981-2004
Elected Clerk of Court 2004; Assumed office January 04, 2005 (4 Year Term)

Completed 240 hours classroom training to become certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Certified Clerk of Circuit Court in August 2006.  Recertified annually by the Supreme Court.

Re-Elected as an unopposed candidate in 2008 and 2012

Have served on numerous committees of the Florida Association of Court Clerks and Comptrollers.

Personal Life:

Married for 42 years
2 children. 3 grandchildren
Active in First Baptist Church of Crestview, elected Deacon in 2004.

Civic Involvement:

Member of Crestview, Fort Walton Beach, Destin & Niceville/Valparaiso Chambers of Commerce.
Member, Board of Directors of the Northwest Florida State College Foundation Board
Member, Board of Directors Crestview Pregnancy Center
Member: Friends of Scouting Committee
